 PRO-CUT PRECISION CUTTING HEAD UPGRADE

Upgrade your lathe and get a live digital read-out of disc thickness and larger disc capacity. This “SMART” cutting head has increased mass, extendable parallel cutting arms, a linear transducer and user-facing dials. This custom application turns the lathe cutting head into a live micrometre with disc thickness shown in inches or millimetres on the LED display. You’ll never lose this micrometre!

The 50-G2X Precision Plus upgrade kit includes the 50-1299 parallel arm cutting head, which offers increased mass and great usability features like adjustable tool arm length up to 92mm (can you say BMW M car?), increased disc thickness capability up to 50mm, and larger user facing depth knobs for improved smaller vehicle access and technician visibility.

G2X ELECTRONICS FOR LIVE DISC THICKNESS MEASUREMENTS

Add the G2X MICROMETRE UPGRADE, and you will simultaneously measure the disc as soon as you start turning the depth knobs. Upgraded machines will display the disc thickness on the DRO screen alternately with the as-cut run-out. The machine now gives the tech the two most common specs to record with no extra tools! Available only for Pro-Cut’s PFM X9 on-car brake lathe.
