Class 7 Brake Testers
Tecalemit has been supplying vehicle brake testing products for over 60 years. When brake testing became part of the MOT, Tecalemit worked with the Ministry of Transport to develop the specifications.
Since then, Tecalemit brake testers have been installed into thousands of MOT bays. Our original range, the DE/7100 series, was hydraulically operated. Later, our DE/7200 models utilised an electro-mechanical operating platform, a mechanism that continues today.
There is still a considerable quantity of these units in daily use across the UK, performing reliably after 50 years of operation.
Today, the DE/9719 is manufactured to the same high-quality standards. Our Class 7 brake testers are available in the following options:
- DE/9719 – Single bed, 3-phase supply (available in ATL, OPTL or MOT formats)
The Tecalemit Class 7 brake tester is configured to test vehicle Classes 3, 4, 5L and 7. A Class 1 & 2 motorcycle upgrade is also available.
