The SF/9064/EV Class 4 & 7 ATL lift from Tecalemit has been developed to meet the DVSA’s Class 7 MOT specification for automated test lanes and one-person testing. The lift platforms have been designed to accommodate the hydraulically operated wheel play detectors and the bearing-mounted radius plates. Both these items are installed flush with the platform surface, allowing for easy vehicle movement along the entire length of the lift platform. The lift is operated from a control box, which can be installed adjacent to the lift, allowing free movement and unobstructed visibility for the examiner around the lift.
The wheel play detector system has been designed and is approved for use in Class 4 and Class 7 ATL and OPTL testing. It is comprised of 2 hydraulically operated wheel play detector plates, which are installed into the lift platforms. The left-hand plate generates a turning movement, and the right-hand plate a lateral movement. The play detectors are operated via controls incorporated into a heavy-duty hand lamp. The hydraulic power pack is housed in a standalone control box.
The SF/9064/EV is available in 3Ph and 1Ph power supply configurations. The range has additional lift platform options with rear slip plates plus an integral wheel-free scissor lift system.
