The Tecalemit DE/7361 Hydraulic Wheel Play Detector is designed to check quickly and efficiently most steering and suspension components. dIt enables a technician to quickly detect play and wear in passenger cars’ steering, suspension and chassis components and LGVs. They are designed for the UK statutory testing of Class 4, 7 and 5L vehicles per the ATL/MOT test.
The hand control is a cable-free unit communicating through RF. The unit comprises a hydraulic powerpack, a combined hand control/lamp and one hydraulic platform. The platform is only 48 MM high and is actuated by two hydraulic cylinders. The play is visually checked with the control lamp. The wheel play detector generates lateral movement and rotary movement.
