The WMP Excellence Awards celebrate police officers, staff and the public who have gone the extra mile to make the West Midlands a safer place. This year, we are proud to say that one of our field-based engineering team was presented with the ‘Special Constable of the Year’ award. Craig Hume is one of our regional managers, as well as being a Special Sergeant with West Midlands Police. We are very proud of Craig’s commitment to his local community, giving his time to volunteer as a police officer.
Tecalemit has a long history of supporting our blue light colleagues, and we are pleased to be able to grow our association with them through Craig’s volunteering. Speaking about Craig’s award, Penny Rolls, Tecalemit’s Head of Supply Chain Operations, said, “This is wonderful news and very well deserved, I am sure. We are fortunate to have Craig on the team.”
