From 1 April 2023, the DVSA has specified that the calibration frequency of decelerometers with change to an annual requirement, replacing the previous 2-year cycle.
Decelerometer calibration certificates issued before 1 April 2023 will be accepted until they expire. After this, the equipment must be calibrated annually.
