Tecalemit Garage Equipment Ltd, the UK’s leading supplier of MoT and garage equipment, is exhibiting on stand 43, at this year’s Mechanex Show at Sandown Park.

On the stand this year is the AF3000 super-automatic tyre changer specifically developed to meet the needs of the modern tyre shop. The AF3000 has been designed for use with run flat and the most extreme wide and low aspect ratio tyres - it can even cope with wheel and tyre combinations used in motorsport.

The AF3000 removes the need for heavy lifting, helping workshops to comply with the Health and Safety regulations on Manual Handling. In fact, the AF3000 is so simple and easy to use that, following a little training, petite model Ella Durston will be on the Tecalemit stand to demonstrate the fact.

Also on display is the new 480 combined emission tester. The 480 can be supplied as a basic diesel engine smoke meter, a petrol engine 4 gas analyser or as a combined emission tester. The accompanying mobile cabinet contains the DiSpeed magnetic engine speed measurement tool, along with a PC, printer, keyboard, mouse and monitor. Diagnostic modules can be added for OBD fault code reading and resetting, and an oscilloscope for in-depth diagnostic work.

Visitors to the stand will also have a chance to inspect the AC2500 air-conditioning unit. With easy to read high and low pressure gauges, a refrigerant bottle heater which speeds up recharging and twin filtration system, the unit is housed in a heavy duty cabinet with lockable wheels for durability and ease of use.
