Tecalemit Garage Equipment, the largest single supplier of MoT test equipment in the UK, has appointed Mike Curry as Commercial Development Manager.
With over 20 years experience in the industry, Mike is well known having worked in senior management positions with blue chip companies including Sykes - Pickavant Facom Group, Tenneco, and most recently Axle Group.
Of the new role, Mike Curry said: “I relish the challenge of exploring aftermarket activities and the fast-fit industry. It’s exciting to be involved with a new project right from the outset and it means I will take responsibility for developing a business area from scratch and help to break into new market sectors.”
He brings with him a wealth of experience, having lead teams of over 30 staff and managed businesses turning over in the region of £60 million.
“We created this position in order to develop new market opportunities in the fast-fit industry,” said Tecalemit Managing Director James Devonport. “Mike has an impeccable past record, and his experience will be of huge benefit to our team.”
Mike is responsible for developing aftersales opportunities throughout the UK. He is based in Preston, and is married with two teenage children. Hobbies include motor-sport, travelling and cycling.
