Tecalemit Garage Equipment has secured a contract with Walter Finkbeiner GmbH to become the sole distributor in the UK for its range of high specification, heavy duty, hydraulic, commercial vehicle lifts.
Finkbeiner GmbH, based in Germany, produces a prestige range of heavy duty hydraulic lifts, which fall into three basic product groups; the FHB 3000, a mobile wheel-free vehicle lift suitable for cars and vans up to 3000kg; the revolutionary HDS bus, coach and truck lifting system, incorporating a patented space saving platform design (capable of lifting vehicles up to 18m long and 50t gross weight) and the EHB mobile column lifts, which now incorporate the EHB /DC cable–free system.
Following the appointment, Mr Gerhard Finkbeiner, Managing Director of Finkbeiner GmbH, stated: “We believe that it is essential to offer a reliable back-up service to commercial equipment operators who have invested in our products, Tecalemit provides just that with its extensive service department that operates throughout the UK. Therefore, we greatly look forward to working with Tecalemit as we continue to develop new and innovative products.”
In support of the new product line Tecalemit has increased its field-based service operations adding a further three technical sales managers and seven engineers to its team. This brings the total number of technical staff to 78, making it one of the largest garage equipment service teams in the UK.
“Finkbeiner products represent outstanding quality, combined with engineering excellence, and will be a tremendous addition to our range of heavy lifting equipment,” said Philip Cledwyn, Tecalemit Sales & Marketing Director. “With the additions to our service team, we are looking forward to meeting the challenges of providing Finkbeiner’s customers with an outstanding service.”
Tecalemit can now provide customers throughout the UK with equipment, spares and service support for some of Europe’s leading equipment brands. The range includes Finkbeiner and products previously marketed under the OMER and Europa brands.
