Class IV MOT Packages

Class IV MOT testing in the UK can now be conducted using one of three different testing methodologies:

1. MOT Testing:      Employs traditional equipment format, examiner and assistant
2. OPTL Testing:    One Person Test Lane: Employs wheel play detectors and mirrors, requires only an unassisted Examiner to conduct test
3. ATL Testing:        Automated Test Lane: As OPTL with automated brake test and brake test data storage

Tecalemit  has a complete range of products for all types of testing.

MOT Testing

Lifting Equipment:

Option 1: 3.5t Quadra Lifts with either flush fitting turning plates, Part No: SF 9004

Option 2: 4.5t Scissor Lift. Hydraulically operated compact design Part No: SF 9094

Jacking:

Option 1: Manually operated 2.0t capacity Pit Jack or lift mounted hydraulic Jacking beam.

Option 2: Pneumatically operated 2.0t capacity Pit Jack or lift mounted hydraulic Jacking beam.

Brake Testing:

Option 1: Standard Roller brake tester with single roller bed 3Ph power requirement and a choice of pedestal or wall mounted display.

Option 2: Split Roller brake tester with two roller beds for installation into pre-existing excavation.

Option 3: Roller brake tester with 1Ph power requirement.

One Person Test Lane - equipment as MOT Test Lane except

Lifting Equipment:

Option 1: 4 Post 4.0t Capacity Quadra SF 9254 lift fitted with Tecalemit integral flush fitting wheel play detectors.

Option 2: Scissor Lift 4.5t Capacity SF 9094, fitted with Tecalemit integral flush fitting wheel play detectors.

Ancillary Products:

Mirror Kit: 1 Pair of convex mirrors with wall mounting brackets (includes installation)

Brake Pedal Applicator: VOSA approved pedal applicator which enables unassisted examiner to inspect braking system.

Brake Testing Equipment

All Brake Testers: The Brake Tester runs through an automated test programme. The ATL brake tes programme. The ATL Brake Tester is fitted with abd integral weighing system which enables automatic calculation of braking efficiency. The test results are downloaded from the brake tester to a PC mounted within a work station cabinet. Tecalemit Test Lane software allows the examiner to store and archive the results.

AUTOMATED TEST LANE (Premium) As ATL except:

Premium ATL is supplied with a Tecalemit DiX 480 Emission Tester.

All Class IV Packages also include heavy duty captive radius turning plates, DE 7288 headlamp beam tester and delivery and installation of the equipment to a prepared site. Includes A4 Printer.
