Application
Tecalemit has developed a range of 4t capacity lifts specifically for Class IV and VII (UK) MOT/ATL testing. Each lift in the range meets the dimensional requirements and technical specification set out by VOSA.
The Class VII ATL/OPTL lift incorporates a complete range of safety features to ensure operator peace of mind. The lift platforms, cross members and columns are manufactured from top grade materials to ensure longevity and performance without deflection and distortion - often the case with low cost equipment from outside the EU.
The Quadra SF 9057 Class VII ATL lift conforms to EN 1493 and CE requirements for lifting equipment.
Wheel Play Detectors
The SF 9057 lift is supplied complete with integral hydraulically operated wheel play detectors.
The system has been designed and is approved for use in Class VII MOT/ATL and OPTL testing.
The Play Detector System is comprised of 2 hydraulically operated wheel play detector plates which are installed into the lift platforms. The left hand plate generates a turning movement as specified below and the right hand plate a lateral movement.
The hydraulic power pack is mounted on the lift motor post and the play detectors are operated via a heavy duty hand lamp.

Installation
For The Quadra SF 9057 Class VII ATL lift requires a level floor to +/- 8mm of C30 or equivalent grade concrete of a minimum thickness of 160mm excluding any screed or paving.
If in doubt a qualified person (structural engineer) should be consulted.
For lifts requiring a 3Ph power supply a fused circuit protection must be installed. A neutral conductor should also be provided.
Radius Turning Plates
The SF9057 lift incorporates recesses in the platform for flush fitting captive turning plates to be fitted. The lift is supplied with plates which cover the platform recess should the turning plate option not be purchased.When installed, the flush fitting turning plates allow for easy vehicle movement and positioning. The SF 9057 cannot be upgraded for use in ATL or Single Man Test Lanes.
